Ziyou: “This is probably the only cafe in Taipei where the food stands out more than the drinks and the desserts.  In fact, this cafe’s signature Hao Wu Spirit Beef Noodles are the best soupless beef noodles I have ever had.  The flavorful and tender slices of beef, along with the tofu strips and various condiments and seasonings mixed together, creates the perfect bowl.  The downside is that the homemade dessert selection seems limited and seating can be slightly uncomfortable. ★★★★☆”

Yeh: “Some people might come for the quirky decor, or the peaceful atmosphere, or the wide selection of food and drink, but for us there’s just one reason to come here: the beef noodles, which are amazingly available at all times of day.  Perhaps the beef noodles are too good, because the rest of the food and drinks seem average in comparison, but still a place we’ll be going back to again. ★★★★☆”
